Welcome to the Stepping Stone School located at 8121 Shoal Creek in North Central Austin. It is conveniently located just off Mopac Expressway and near Mopac’s intersection with Hwy 183 and I-35. It can be accessed off the Anderson Lane or Steck exits of Mopac. This school is situated near the Crestview, Brentwood, Allandale, Great Hills and North Shoal Creek neighborhoods along with the Burnet Road Corridor redevelopment project. Many young families are revitalizing these neighborhoods and find this campus easy to drop off and pick up from.
The large atrium provides a place for our enrichment programs or family gatherings. The campus has an in-ground swimming pool where swimming lessons are provided each summer and four large tree-shaded, age-appropriate playgrounds covered in artificial turf the children find fun and engaging. All outdoor areas are securely fenced with access available only through the building.
This campus is home to our innovative program called The Atelier™ which is comprised of three areas of focus; the Creative Art Gallery, Character Role Models, and the Architecture Studio. The Atelier is overseen by a seasoned artistic and creative educator who is available to guide the children while fostering their imagination to take their learning to the next level. Learn more.
