Welcome to the Stepping Stone School located at 2301 N.A.W. Grimes Blvd in Round Rock. This campus is easily accessed from Hwy 79, I-35, University Blvd, Old Settler’s Road, FM 112/Avery-Nelson Blvd and is on the way for those commuting into Austin or Round Rock from Georgetown, Hutto and Taylor. Many major employers such as Dell Computer, IKEA, Scott & White, ACC, Southwest Texas State University and Seton Northwest Hospital are located nearby. The campus sits in front of the Meadows at Chandler Creek Park and walking trails.

The school was designed and built from the ground up by the Paver Family ensuring security and safety. This campus is considered one of the leading examples of a high quality state-of-the art early care and education facility nationally. The campus boasts an enormous indoor atrium filled with lots of natural light. Hallways radiate out north and south from the atrium and a separate school age wing is included. The large atrium provides a place for family gatherings or for our enrichment programs which include Dance Discovery, Kung Fu Kids, Opus One Music, Flippers Gymnastics and Sports Adventure.

The school age wing contains a laboratory where STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) curriculum and activities take place as well as a computer lounge featuring computers loaded with age-appropriate enjoyable academic software. A large set of cog wheels encompass an entire wall in the hallway and the cogs can be made to move by the children when the large cranks are turned. This is just one of the many children’s museum quality interactive displays that make children attending this school never want to go home. The three spacious playgrounds are shaded and filled with age appropriate outdoor activities including rock climbing walls and artificial turf.

We educate and care for children from 6 weeks to 13 years old and provide transportation for the following elementary schools: Doublefile, Herrington, Robertson, Blackland Prairie, Callison, Cottonwood Creek, Gattis, Nadine Johnson and Veteran’s Hill.

I was sooo scared to put my child in daycare. After speaking with the director Taylor a few times i felt comfortable and enrolled my child. My daughter absolutely LOVES her teacher(s) and friends. She is always so excited to go to daycare. I am so happy that we decided to finally get her in daycare to be around other classmates her age. I know i can be an overbearing or paranoid parent but any concerns or questions i have had and have get addresses right away. I can tell my daughters developmental growth has truly hit a growth spurt since she has started at stepping stone. All the staff have been super friendly, and caring. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. Not to say the other locations arent just as awesome but i know from first hand experience about this school. And i know ive had some unexpected things come up and Mrs.Taylor and the staff were able to help me out. Thats a plus in my book. They genuinely care about the children and their safety, well being.

I love Stepping Stone in Round Rock! Ms. Taylor and the staff are absolutely amazing! My son has been attending since he was 3 months (13 months now) and I cannot say enough great things. Everyone knows my son by name and just show us so much love. I'm truly grateful for our Stepping Stone family!

The only reason I'm not giving the school 5 stars is because I'm a believer that we always have room to grow. With that said; the school has been a blessing for my son. His teacher, Mrs. Marissa is patient, understanding, caring and loving. My son adores her and I appreciate her teaching style cause it is helping develop my son's behaviors and intellect. The staff is also great and always ready to listen no matter how small of an inquiry at the time.

Mrs. Vicki was a great principal and Ms. Taylor is transitioning nicely while keeping the safety/care of the kids the key focus at Steeping Stone. My son loves Ms. Taylor by the way as well.

We've made our 6 month mark with the school and look forward to many more years and that 5 star review next time. :-)

What an awesome place! Stepping Stone has been a blessing for our family! Our six year old daughter had a wonderful summer experience there. Field trips, projects and structured curriculum to keep her busy! The staff is professional, friendly and so helpful! We were so relieved to find such a safe, clean, healthy environment to drop our daughter off to daily. Thank you to all of the staff and Mrs. Taylor for always being available and willing to address any questions we had. We are all ready looking forward to next summer! Building and sharing new memorable experiences with everyone at Stepping Stone! Thank you so much!!
