This campus is considered one of the leading examples of a high quality state-of-the-art early care and education facility nationally.

The campus boasts a large indoor atrium filled with lots of natural light. The atrium provides a place for family gatherings or for our enrichment programs which include Dance Discovery, Opus One, Gym Station Flippers, and Gym Station Sports. This state-of-the-art facility will also introduce a Library Grotto where the children will gather beneath specialized lighting in an environment designed for o ptimal reading mastery and enjoyment. In addition, interactive displays of books, paper, printing and literacy through time will be featured throughout the school. Hallways radiate out from the atrium with younger children in one wing and older children in the other.

A classroom dedicated to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) curriculum and activities, as well as our innovative program called The Atelier™ will take center stage for children three years old and up. The Atelier™ is comprised of three areas of focus; the Creative Art Gallery, Character Role Models, and the Architecture Studio. The Atelier™ is overseen by a seasoned artistic and creative educator who is available to guide the children while fostering their imagination to take their learning to the next level. Learn more.

A museum quality timeline tracing the history of writing with hands-on displays will be the hallmark of the Pre-K and school age wing of the building. From ancient papyrus to clay tablets and modern day hand-held computers, children will expand their minds by seeing firsthand how ancient civilizations communicated and how writing has evolved through time.

The three spacious playgrounds covered in artificial turf are shaded and filled with age-appropriate outdoor activities and are safely tucked behind the school. All outdoor areas are securely fenced with access available only through the building. An in-ground pool is located on the campus and will provide swim lessons during the summer for children three years old through school age. A custom sport court and rock climbing wall are real showstoppers in the school age yard.

Reviews

We have had both of our kids at Stepping Stones Plum Creek for several years now and have been thoroughly impressed with the care and attention the Full-time and Part-time staff have been providing for our kids. A big shout out to Ms. Lyndsey and Ms. Kayla for their love and devotion to early child education, and Ms. Priscilla and Ms. Kristie for the overseeing of the school. We feel very comfortable leaving our kids in the schools care and have seen tremendous growth in our kids over the years. Absolutely recommend Stepping Stones to parents looking for a highly telented daycare operation.

Enrolled my son here at a Stepping Stone School in July 2019. Since then, my son has been in the Pre-K class with his wonderful teacher Mrs.Lyndsey. Words can’t even express how influential and how much of an impact Mrs. Lyndsey has with my child. I couldn’t thank her enough for everything she does for not only my son but for the whole class. It brings me joy that my son looks forward to school and how much he loves his teacher. Thank you Mrs. Lyndsey ☺️!!

My daughter has attended Stepping Stone Plum Creek since she was 3 months old. As a first time mom, I can tell you there was nothing more unnerving to me, at the time, than trying to select a daycare. We visited a few, but were ultimately impressed most by the tour, teachers, and facility at Stepping Stone Plum Creek.

Now, 12 months later, I couldn't be happier with our choice.
I won't pretend like every day is exactly perfect*. I won't say that communication is 100% on point all the time*. I won't tell you that she doesn't come home with the occasional bump, or bruise*.

I will tell you though that the directors and teachers here have more love for my child than I would ever expect from an unrelated person. They legitimately want the best for her and all of the other children there. They are excited to see the children and miss them when they are gone. They are excited to teach them new things and they recall random events that happen throughout each day to fill you in on when you come to pick up. Not because they have to, but because they hold a legitimate interest in your child and they want to share that with you.

I've kept meaning to write a review, but hadn't felt totally compelled to until recent events.

When word of the "pandemic" started circulating, this group was ahead of the curve on implementing all of the necessary safety measures. They kept up with everything that was being asked of them, in order to keep our children safe and keep the doors open, so those of us operating in essential businesses could still perform our duties. There was almost constant written and verbal communication with the parents and a definite feeling of "as soon as we know something, you'll know something," that allows for a great deal of comfort in a situation like this. Even as the Mayor of Kyle decided to shut down daycare facilities, this group was quick to find accommodations and make arrangements for us to attend sister schools, outside of the city (we attended the Stepping Stone at Brodie.) Having only ever attended the Plum Creek location, I was (admittedly,) over the top nervous and anxious about taking my child to another location. All of those feelings completely subsided though as we walked up for our first day there and were greeted by people from Plum Creek. Ms. Kristi, Ms. Priscilla, and Ms. Kayla maintained a near constant presence there, which put me completely at ease. They knew how difficult it would be for the children if there had not been any familiar faces and they took that into consideration when making their plans for how to handle this.

I can say, I had daily child care during a pandemic and hardly worried about it any more than any other day of a normal week. That's more than I ever could have asked for. Daycare is an extension of your family and I can't imagine ever going anywhere other than Stepping Stone at Plum Creek.

*If you expect any child care facility to be 100% perfect 100% of the time, I think you are grossly underestimating what child care is and should quite possibly consider staying home with your child/children. To that end, if you do, I wish you the best of luck being solely responsible for having perfect days, as it's probably not as easy as you think. I've watched my child fall down in my own home, so it's quite unreasonable to think it shouldn't happen elsewhere.

Hello,

Our son, Haiden, was in Mrs. Kristi’s preschool class for the previous year and we are beyond glad that he was. Haiden has been able to assimilate into his Kinder class with nonissue because of the structure and way Mrs. Kristi teaches teamwork and friendship. Haiden was prepared for assignments at home because Kristi started asking them to work at home.

Additionally, Haiden was taught the basic skills necessary to succeed in school. He was aligned with school curriculum, knew colors, counting, and some words. All of which gave him a huge advantage starting Kinder this last fall.

Most importantly, Haiden was taught to be a good person and to show love and compassion to his classmates. This is an invaluable trait that we appreciate Mrs. Kristi cultivating in Haiden.

Thank you

- Chris

My son started at Stepping Stone - Plum Creek when he was 7 months old. He's just over a year old now, and we have loved our experience. He is currently in Ms. Jennifer and Mrs. Desiree's Gigabyte class and I could not be more grateful for them loving my baby so well when I can't be around. My much-to-busy-to-be-super-affectionate son literally runs into Mrs. Desiree's arms every morning and gives Ms. Jenn at least 5 hugs before we leave in the afternoon. They always make sure that I'm apprised of everything going on in my son's day, good or bad. They keep me feeling connected with pictures throughout the day in the Tadpole app and anecdotes about his adventures when I pick him up. They have always meticulously documented any bump or bruise that he has and I have never had any concern about his safety or their oversight. I'm so glad he is with people that care about him, are dedicated to teaching him to be a good little human, and always celebrate his milestones with me-- whether it is getting in a good nap, finally eating his lunches, or learning to communicate some of his needs with sign language. We are both already so sad about transitioning out of their classroom (I'd love for them to move up with him!), but have had such wonderful experiences with so many other teachers throughout the school. Teachers that aren't in his classroom greet him in the morning and say goodbye to him by name. The principal, Ms. Priscilla, gives me updates about his progress and I believe is always operating with his best interest in mind. I am excited for my son to partake in the all the activities that are offered as he gets older and gives him the foundation to love school moving forward.

When we first decided we were going to put our son in daycare at 13 weeks old we were so nervous! After touring a few schools, we enrolled our son in Stepping Stone. It wasn't easy in the beginning, but we have been blown away by the amazing teachers and the friendships we've built.

Ms. Connie in the infant room, is truly an angel. Dealing with a first time, sad mom who is nervous to leave her son can't be easy Ms. Connie made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions.

We were bummed when our son moved up classes, but we knew it was time. Since moving up, Mrs. Desiree and Ms. Jennifer have done more than we could ask for! In the last couple months he's learned to feed himself, crawl, clap, wave, etc. Our son has learned so much and loves to be at school. We are very grateful and appreciative for Mrs. Desiree and Ms. Jennifer!

So many teachers at Stepping Stone have impacted us positively (Kaitlyn, Kayla, Courtney) and we are so grateful to know our son is in good hands. The principal, Mrs. Priscilla, has been great at hearing our concerns and offering solutions. She makes an effort to get to know you and that truly goes a long way.
