My daughter was here for only a few months while I briefly went back to work, but it was the best decision putting her at this Stepping Stone location. Her teachers and principal, Tina, loved her as much as I do, which was so refreshing to see. They helped immensely with my daughter's change to solid foods and found creative ways for her to do art projects.
Love this school! I started bringing my baby here at 3 months and have had nothing but positive experiences with all the staff members. I was having such a hard time at first, but with their open door policy and the fact that they're located right next to my work, I've been able to come in during my lunch breaks to nurse. As a first time mom, those times spent in the classroom nursing my baby, The teachers have given me advice on what I can do with the baby when I am at home and things I would have never known if I never brought her here. Miss Anna and Miss Jeanne have taken such good care of my daughter that it's hard to imagine having anyone else care for her. Plus seeing my daughter with a smile on her face every time I hand her over to them eases my mind. Highly recommend!
I love this Stepping Stone location. They are well staffed, well organized, incredibly caring and understanding! Mrs Lauren was one of the first staff members that helped me and she was marvelous. Within the first few days of my child's attendance it was like she knew me for years. I had a concern that I brought up to her, she listened, was very polite, took notes and followed up. The next day, the principal, Mrs Arlene stuck around later than usual to also speak with me about my concerns and she was the same way, great listener and really put me at ease. I couldn't appreciate that more. My child's teacher, Mrs Lisa, is hands down the best toddler teacher I have ever witnessed. She's like a toddler whisperer. Any time I have seen her in class, she has complete control, every one is happy, clean, and participating. I can't express how much I genuinely appreciate everyone at this school. This is just 3 of the amazing faculty members, I am positive the rest are just as wonderful. Thank you Stepping Stone Parmer!!
My son has been attending this location since he was 8 weeks old. I cannot speak highly enough about Miss Allison, his teacher in Gigabytes! She is attentive, caring, and watchful over the infants in her care. Knowing that my son gets to spend his days playing under her careful supervision gives me the peace of mind I need to continue working while away from my baby!
I've had the opportunity while my son's been there to build a relationship with the staff. Both the teachers and admins care a lot about their work and the children they care for. I wouldn't want my son anywhere else.
I am updating my review to share my appreciation for the new pre-K teacher, Miss Laycia. She has been absolutely amazing for my four year old as well as my two year old! She truly loves children and it shows. She cares for every child on the campus and goes out of her way to make them all feel special and loved. She also goes above and beyond in the classroom by creating fun and imaginative projects. She keeps the kids engaged all the while encouraging strong values and discipline. She has complete control of her classroom and the kids just love her. We are truly blessed to have her as our pre-K teacher!
I started my son here at 4 months of age. I was a bit nervous that only two adults could handle so many babies because me with my one baby is hard enough. However, after receiving updates throughout the day, I felt so comfortable with him in their care. Ms. Jeanne in the Gigabytes room is amazing and has a great system. She communicated any of my sons needs throughout when I dropped him off/picked him up. She would call me if she was concerned about anything and was generally on top of his care (in addition to the other babies). The other non-full time staff were also fantastic. The principal, Arlene, is also very helpful and responsive to email and questions! We have moved and now have him in a different daycare in our new city because there is no Stepping Stone School here (*ahem* please open one up here!) and miss this place so much. The little projects sent home, the picture updates, and the log of ins/outs were so appreciated. I love that they have activities and group readings. I highly recommend this location (I already have 1 friend that enrolled her son and another with one on the way planning on taking their's here too).
My daughter has been attending Stepping Stone for over a year and has learned so much! The social skills she learned have been great. She seems to enjoy going to school and loves all her friends and teachers she's had so far. I want to call out Ms. Denisha (sorry for possible misspelling) for being absolutely wonderful. Our daughter really loves her teacher which makes taking her to daycare a breeze. The Tadpoles app that is used to send pictures and videos is great! Would rate the school 5 stars but has to do with the lack of teacher she had over the summer.
