Exciting Winter Break Camp Planned

We are looking forward to our 2012 Winter Break Camp, “A Day at the Museum!” Plan to have your school-age children join our fun & educational school break camp.

A Day at the Museum

Our Winter Break camp activities and discussions will revolve around exciting museum experiences. We will explore the different types of museums: history, art, natural history, cultural, etc. The children will create a variety of museum exhibits through art, science, math and literacy and critical thinking activities then display them in their own classroom galleries. Come see exhibits including apple mummies, dinosaur fossils, model biplanes, ethnic masks, self portraits and more!

Field Journeys

We will be sharing the holiday spirit by caroling at a local nursing home, experiencing the “Dinosaurs Rock” exhibit presented by the Houston Zoo, and taking in an Austin Toros basketball game at which we will be able to go onto the court to meet the players and mascot — make sure to bring your autograph book! (Field journeys will vary some by campus – please ask the campus principal.)

Math & Literacy Club

Our exclusive Math & Literacy Club continues during winter break. Through a series of math and literacy activities, cooking projects and science experiments, your child will delve into a variety of math and literacy concepts through real world experiences. Every day, your children will participate in activities that further their knowledge!

Ask us today how your child can participate in these exciting Winter Break activities.
