We’re Celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

We will be celebrating this much-loved children’s author with daily events throughout the week of March 4-8!

Stop by to see all the festivities as the children learn about this writer, poet and illustrator known formally as Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991). On the schedule are:

Monday, March 4
Hat Day  Create hats to wear just like the cat in the hat

Tuesday, March 5
Silly Socks & Rhymes  Children can wear silly socks to school and create their own classroom rhyme

Wednesday, March 6
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish  Children can wear red and blue and create fish works of art

Thursday, March 7
ABC Show and Share. Each child will bring in an item to represent a letter of the alphabet

Friday, March 8
Horton Hears a Who! Microscopic Community Creations. Children will learn the values of trustworthiness, kindness and perseverance.
