AUSTIN, Texas, June 8, 2017 – With the population boom in Hays County continuing, Stepping Stone School is pleased to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art early care and education campus located in the Plum Creek master planned community of Kyle, TX. Stepping Stone School is renowned for its commitment to education, the community and the families of Kyle, TX who will now have a second campus providing high quality, educational child care. Stepping Stone School opened its new campus located at 1020 Lightfoot Street on June 5th.

This new campus provides a holistic, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children which boasts classrooms designed using the latest research on learning environments, shaded and safe outdoor play areas, and enhanced security. In addition, the school is highlighting a ‘Literacy Grotto’ which gives children a glimpse into the history of writing materials and how paper shaped civilization. But most importantly, the students at the Plum Creek campus will benefit from Stepping Stone School’s nationally recognized Platinum Learning for Life™ curriculum.

Designed and built by Stepping Stone School’s own business development team, the new campus will continue the school’s tradition of creating innovative, environmentally sound spaces that inspire wonder and learning in the school’s students. For example, the campus features:

• The award-winning HATCH Technology interactive learning center and a Literacy Grotto filled with classic children’s literature.
• A hands-on S.T.E.A.M. curriculum room to pique children’s curiosity about how things work and introduce them to the endless possibilities of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

Stepping Stone School at Plum Creek is now open and classrooms are filling up quickly with many children transferring from other Stepping Stone School campuses and pre-enrollments.
