Rhonda Paver’s vision for better early care and education in Austin began over four decades ago. In 1979, Rhonda and her husband Bill arrived in Austin with their three children and struggled to find affordable and high-quality options. Determined to make a difference, Rhonda founded the first Stepping Stone School that year, focusing on the development of each child. While overseeing the school’s growth, Rhonda also earned a master’s degree in Child Development from UT Austin.
