This campus is considered one of the leading examples of a high quality state-of-the-art early care and education facility nationally. The campus boasts an enormous indoor atrium filled with glowing representations of the planets in our solar system and plant Earth’s continents hanging from the ceiling. The displays mimic the view astronauts have from inside the international space station. The large atrium provides a place for family gatherings or for our enrichment programs which include Dance Discovery, Soccer Shots, Opus One Music, Flippers Gymnastics and Sports Adventure. Hallways radiate out east and west from the atrium and a separate school age wing is included.
The school age wing contains a laboratory where STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) curriculum and activities take place as well as a computer lounge featuring computers loaded with age-appropriate enjoyable academic software. Exact replicas of dinosaur fossils are displayed down an entire hallway wall with pictures and explanations regarding each pre-historic creature the fossils represent along with a reference to the animals that exist now which descended from their pre-historic ancestors. The three spacious playgrounds are shaded and filled with age-appropriate outdoor activities including a rock climbing wall and artificial turf.

I just wanted to take some time out of my day today to write and give my thoughts on Stepping Stone Teravista (SST). First of all, we made a great decision by letting our daughter attend this educational institution. As a parent, one of the main priorities is our children safety and I cant say enough about the sense of security that I have felt when I walk through the hallways of SST. EVERYONE on the staff engages us and acknowledges our daughter by first name and that make me feel secure and comfortable. It makes me feel that everyone is watching out for our daughter. Second, our daughter loves it here! She misses school when shes not there. Obviously she has grown and loves to learn when she is at SST. We have seen the progress and always look forward to hearing her adventurous day. If you're looking for a great school, you should consider Stepping Stone of Teravista.
My four year old daughter has been in Stepping Stone Teravista since she was six months old, she has had the best teachers and the sweetest friends. This past month she was promoted to the Editors room with Ms. Marisol, when your kid can't stop talking about the things that she learns at school and how she loves her teacher, it is always a great sign of the learning expectations and love her teachers put into their lesson plans. All the things you would expect to see in a kindergarten class, are happening in this classroom, regardless of the kids young age: themed units by week, the kids learn the vocabulary in English and Spanish, practice writing and reading words, counting, patterns, addition; everything within the same theme. I'm also really happy about how Ms. Marisol incorporates STEAM activities in her lessons. The school runs smoothly because of Ms. Cherie's leadership and care not just for the kids, but for her staff as well. She holds high expectations while at the same time bringing new initiatives that have an impact not just on the kids learning but also in building a community. Stepping Stone is a great school. 4.0 star rating
My children attend school at Stepping Stone Teravista and I am elated to have found such a structured, well rounded environment for them to learn in! The teachers are ah-mazing and we couldn't have asked for a better group of staff! Thank you all for putting my mind at ease when I am away at work. You guys ROCK!!
My children have attended Stepping Stone for awhile now and we finally moved away because we needed a cheaper option that was closer to our jobs. Moving our children away from Stepping Stone Teravista was an extremely difficult decision because of the quality care that they provide, the nutritious food that is consistently served (my son ate food there that he never ate at home), and the quality of education that my children received. Honestly, it was a great place to send our children. The hardest part of leaving SS was leaving Ms. Coryn in the School Age classroom. She has a fire and energy that is unmatched and her passion and devotion to the continuing education of the children in her care is amazing. She genuinely cared for each child in the classroom and strived to help them learn and grow to be better versions of themselves.
I been stay home mom for 3 years and finally we decided to give our kids to daycare and preschool. The decision was hard but this school and amazing ladies who work there made it so easy. We love it and very thankful for all their hard work. When your kids ask on weekend to go to school it means they love it a lot. Miss Marissol, Miss Kelly, the principal Miss Cherie are awesome! Always friendly always welcoming. Kids learn so much. They are so creative to keep them occupied, interested and always learning something! my daughter just learned alphabet and in 6 months she is writing and reading. They help with potty training, and other nessesary stuff for your babies devwlopment. Whatever you need they are there for you and your little once to help. We can not be happier with our choice.
The administrators and teachers at the school are amazing. They have patience and they show a lot of love to all of the kids that go there. They send frequent updates and pictures on the school app. They are there early and they stay late. The teachers work really hard to keep their school clean even after the little kids make a big mess! To anyone looking for childcare as well as early child educational development I strongly recommend the Stepping Stone School in Teravista.
