We’re excited to announce Stepping Stone School’s “Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead” 2014 Spring Break Camp!

Austin's Best Early Childhood Education - Stepping Stone School

Over the course of the spring and summer breaks, we will be investigating the S.T.E.A.M. domains of science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

We are kicking off this study during spring break with the subject of “Chemistry.” During this unit we will examine the building blocks of life and witness what happens when we mix certain chemicals together!

Stepping Stone School offers a safe, fun place for children to learn and explore during their break from school. Each of our classrooms is an exciting environment where children are able to strengthen their knowledge through features like chess and math & literacy time, as well as meet and socialize with friends.

Come and Explore the World of Elements, Atoms and Reactions:

  • Make Your Own Invisible Ink
  • Create Homemade Soda Pop
  • Investigate Chemical Reactions
  • Turn Milk into Plastic

Beyond the classroom learning and fun, your children also will go on a series of exciting field journeys, beginning with a trip to one of our Children’s Conference Centers for a presentation of Mad Science!! The children also will cool off with some snow cones when Kona Ice visits. Finally, we will take a trip to the movies for some rest and relaxation. (Field journeys may vary a little by campus location.)

Through these field trips, educational daily activities, exciting classroom environment, and a friendly, encouraging atmosphere, we will make this your child’s favorite spring break ever!
