Elena Tarver is a caring and dedicated early childhood professional who joined the Stepping Stone School team in 2024.

As a valued team member at our Leander campus, she began as a classroom teacher, where she was recognized as Teacher of the Month for “creating magic for children.” She now proudly serves as Campus Principal at the McNeil Campus.

Elena brings a warm, hands-on approach to leadership, grounded in her classroom experience planning age-appropriate learning, partnering with families, and organizing special events like holiday parties and graduations. With a passion for creating safe, nurturing spaces where children feel valued, she is committed to making every day a joyful experience for the children and families she serves.

Marisol Cardona serves as Principal of Apple Academy at Stepping Stone School, bringing more than 13 years of experience in early childhood education and school leadership.

Throughout her career, Marisol has demonstrated a deep commitment to nurturing children’s growth while supporting educators and families through strong, thoughtful leadership. Her experience as both an educator and principal allows her to lead with insight, compassion, and a strong focus on high-quality programming. As Principal, Marisol is dedicated to upholding Apple Academy’s commitment to excellence and ensuring a positive, enriching learning environment for children and families in Northwest Austin.

Panda Correa is a dedicated and experienced early childhood professional who has worked with young children since 2017.

Panda began as a Montessori preschool teacher and went on to serve as a Pre-K teacher, curriculum coordinator, assistant director, and director in Austin-area early learning programs. She now proudly serves as Campus Principal at the Lakeline campus.

Panda holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Montessori certification, and a Texas Child Care Director’s Certificate, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Her background in curriculum design, licensing compliance, and teacher coaching, along with her experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, shapes her thoughtful, child-centered approach to leadership. With a passion for nurturing growth, learning, and connection, Panda is committed to creating a safe, joyful, and high-quality experience for children and their families.

Cecilia Elzy is a dedicated early childhood professional who has cared for young children and their families since 2011.

As the owner and operator of a licensed childcare in Anchorage, Alaska, she built a strong foundation in family communication, safety, and licensing compliance. She now proudly serves as the Campus Principal at the Hyde Park campus.

Cecilia holds an Associate of Science in Business Fundamentals and is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business. Before working in early childhood education, she led teams in healthcare settings, which taught her the value of organization, clear communication, and attention to detail. She brings that leadership experience to creating a safe, nurturing, and well-run environment where children can thrive and families feel informed and supported.

Connie is a seasoned and passionate education leader with over 30 years of experience working with children, families, and educators. She has proudly served as the Principal of Apple Academy at Stepping Stone School Northcross since 2024, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a steadfast commitment to high-quality early education.

Connie holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from Michigan State University. Her extensive career includes over 17 years as a Principal and Assistant Principal in public education, where she led campuses serving students in K–8 programs.

Connie is known for her thoughtful, child-centered approach. She creates welcoming learning environments where children, families, and staff feel supported. Connie is committed to fulfilling Apple Academy’s mission of providing smart, affordable care to the Northcross community.

Jade Burns is a dedicated and experienced early childhood professional who has worked with young children since 2016.

As a valued team member of Stepping Stone School since 2019, she now proudly serves as University Campus Principal at Apple Academy at Stepping Stone School.

Jade holds an Associate of Arts degree and brings a thoughtful, family-centered approach to her leadership. As a mother of three boys, who have all been part of the Stepping Stone School community she brings both personal and professional insight into creating a nurturing, high- quality experience for children and their families. With a passion for supporting growth, learning and connection, Jade is committed to upholding Apple Academy’s mission of providing smart, affordable care to the community.

Alice Juarez serves as Campus Principal at Stepping Stone School Kyle, bringing more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education and school leadership.
